Lights, Camera, Action... Enter The DSV Sports Video Clip of the Week Contest

Got a video camera? A camera on your cell phone? Then you have a chance to win the DSV Sports Video Clip of the Week contest.

Submit your clip to the FCIAC Football Blog or SWC Buzz. If your video is voted Clip of the Week, you win a t-shirt and, well, bragging rights for a week!

No purchase or experience shooting video is needed. Just shoot, mail, and tell people to vote.

Here are the rules, and a sample blooper clip that could be considered for submission:


Digital Sports Video Clip of the Week

RULES:

1. Contestants may submit individual clip files from the prior week’s FCIAC or SWC football games. For example, clips of games played Sept. 14 and 15 may be submitted only during the first contest period, Sept. 21 and 22 during the second contest period, and so on.


2. Clips must be less than 25 seconds in length.


3. Submissions must be e-mailed via e-mail to clip@fciacfootballblog.com. The submission must also be a file. We will not download from a website.


4. The e-mail must include the submitters name, address, e-mail address and telephone number.


5. Submission must be received by 11 p.m. eastern time Monday of the contest week. Submissions may also be mailed to Joe Bouffard, DSV Headquarters, 111 Marcroft St., Stratford, CT 06614


6. Copyrighted material may not be submitted without written consent of the copyright owner.


7. The FCIAC Football Blog and SWC Buzz reserve the right to air submitted material online.


8. All decisions made by DSV Sports Video, the FCIAC Football Blog, and SWC Buzz are final.

VOTING:

1. Voting will be conducted online at fciacfootballblog.com and swcbuzz.blogspot.com. The ballot will be housed at pollhost.com.


2. Voting will begin Tuesday of the contest week, and run through 10 a.m. eastern time Friday of the contest week.


3. Only one vote per IP address will be permitted.


4. The submitter of the clip with the highest vote count at the end of the voting period will be declared that week’s winner, and receive a t-shirt courtesy of Digital Sports Video, FCIAC Football Blog, and SWC Buzz.
